Dragon & Lion Dance Performance
We invite you to watch this year's must-see dragon and lion dance show by the professional team of Lee's Golden Dragon. the lineage of the troupe traces directly to Chung Ngai Dance Troupe, a Chinese dance company in San Francisco established in 1966. Chung Ngai was and still is known for combining a variety of dance styles into each of their performances, including lion dancing, Chinese folk dancing, kung fu, even drumming exhibitions.

The Requirement
The drawing has to be colorful. Pen, pencil, crayon or charcoal, oil, acrylic or watercolor paints and mixed materials are allowed. Photographs and digital creations are not allowed. Please indicate the participant's name, date of birth, phone number, address and category in the back of the painting. The copyright belongs to Katy Asian Town (AOTG LLC).
Submission Deadline
After finishing the drawing, please drop off or mail the painting during Jan 22- January 27, 2022, to: Katy Asian Town UMRE Office: 23119 Colonial Pkwy #A1., Katy, TX 77449. For a request to return the painting after the contest, please provide the return envelope with the stamp.

Build 50 Limited Brick Lantern Sets
- Date: Jan.29 Feb. 5, Feb. 6
- Time: 1:00 ~ 5:00pm
We will offer different lantern photos or brick sets as displays.
Participants build lanterns, they could copy the display to make one or create their own design.
When the lantern is completed, give it to the staff. The staff will hang them in the exhibition hall to let audiences view.

Brick Creative Time “ I celebrate the Lunar New Year at Katy Asian Town”
- Date: Feb. 5, Feb. 6
- Time: 2:00 ~ 3:30pm
- How to Participate: Walk in, first come first serve
- Participants: 3 groups at one time, no more than 4 people each group
Participants will use a brick set to build the theme “ I celebrate the Lunar New Year at Katy Asian Town”
The host will ask participants to build additional requirements following by the story. Participants will use additional bricks to build the requirements to add on to the story.
After completing the story set, Participants are requested to take photos with their sets, post on social media FB page or Instagram and tag Katy Asian Town.
Participants will receive gifts.

The Brick Competition
- Date: Feb. 5, Feb. 6
- Time: 4:00 ~ 4:40pm
- How to participate: Walk in, first come first serve
- Participants: 3 Participants at one time. All is welcome to participate.
The host or any random audience will decide which brick set to build. The staff will start the game. 3 participants build the same set simultaneously. The staff will count the time of each participants.
The participant will raise the hand when the brick set is completed. We will wait for all participants complete their brick set.
After all participants complete their brick sets. The host will ask them to disassemble the set they just built and place bricks in a box. The staff will still count on their timing to finish. The participant will raise the hand when the set is complete disassembled. We will wait for all participants complete the disassemble the set.
The staff will count how much time that each participant spend for build and disassemble the set. The winner is the person spend the less time to build and disassemble the set. The round one finishes.
Only 1 winner in each round could stay for the next game. With the current winner and 2 more new participants, the next round starts following the same rules to continue the game.
The game is about 40 min total. The participant who stays until in the end of the game will become the winner.
